President-elect Donald Trump on Tuesday named Georgia Rep. Tom Price to lead the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and healthcare consultant Seema Verma to run the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and the response from healthcare organizations was largely supportive of the new administration. The American Hospital Association called Price "uniquely qualified" and the American Medical Association said it looked forward to the new Secretary removing "regulatory burdens."
