Health Carousel acquires Medical Staffing Options
Deal means Health Carousel will hire 150 more people this year for its Dayton, Cincinnati and Columbus locations.
Cincinnati-based healthcare workforce solutions provider Health Carousel has acquired Columbus, Ohio-based Medical Staffing Options. They will also hire 150 more people across its Dayton, Cincinnati, and Columbus locations, Health Carousel announced Monday.
This is the company's second acquisition in two years, and is part of the company's agenda to include expand services and market share by acquiring healthcare staffing companies. Medical Staffing Options adds scale to Health Carousel's existing travel nursing and allied healthcare staffing services, the company said in a statement.
"This is a very exciting time for us," said MSO President Bob Gammill. "We've been growing for years, and joining a company like Health Carousel will enable us to accelerate our growth in the future."

Mr. Gammill will join Health Carousel's executive team as Senior Vice President, and will maintain leadership of their Columbus office.

It supports hospital systems, long-term care and rehab facilities, outpatient facilities and home health agencies. The company has more than 1000 working healthcare professionals in 38 states across the US with affiliates in Dayton, Ohio, Manila, Philippines and now Columbus, Ohio.
Medical Staffing Options is based in Columbus, Ohio. The company provides nurse travel staffing.
