James Brasel named CFO at Oklahoma-based Jane Phillips Medical Center

Brasel returns to JPMC after serving as the hospital’s regional controller from 2001 to 2007.

James Brasel was recently named chief financial officer at Jane Phillips Medical Center.

The Jane Phillips Medical Center, a member of St. John Health System in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, named James Brasel as the hospital’s chief financial officer, effective Dec. 1, the health center announced Friday.

Brasel returns to JPMC after serving as the hospital’s regional controller from 2001 to 2007.

Following his 2007 departure from JPMC, he worked as the CFO at Craig General Hospital, a 62-bed facility in Vinita, Oklahoma. In 2013, he moved to St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he was the director of finance and controller. Brasel earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration/accounting and a master’s degree in business administration from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
