Kronos acquires OptiLink to strengthen workforce management offerings
Workforce management firm Kronos Incorporated announced Friday that it has acquired the assets of OptiLink from The Advisory Board Company in a cash transaction.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Tigard, Ore.-based OptiLink specializes in working with healthcare organizations to align staffing levels with patient needs rather than predetermined budgets.
Kronos issued a press release announcing the acquisition, in which it stated “With this acquisition, Kronos is creating a common platform within which the finance and nursing departments can collaborate to control costs and deliver high-quality patient care.”
“Bringing OptiLink technology and talented people into our portfolio gives us the opportunity to further unite clinical practice with workforce management to deliver even greater value to our healthcare customers,” said Kronos’ Chief Nursing Officer Susan Reese said in the press release.
