Personal 'branding' important for physician practice leaders

MGMA 2013 Annual Conference preview

Among the themes at the Medical Group Management Association’s annual conference in San Diego next week is the impact of personality – from using personality for branding to understanding why people do what they do.

“The MGMA Annual Conference is designed to be an enriching and valuable learning experience for attendees,” Susan Turney, MD, MGMA-ACMPE’s president and CEO, told Healthcare Finance News in an emailed statement. “A common thread between all our sessions is understanding your strengths as a practice leader and applying these skills when you leave.”
