Sentry Data Systems names Tom Tran CFO and COO
Tran has led finance teams for several top-ranked health plans.
Tom Tran has been named chief financial officer and chief operating officer at Sentry Data Systems, a healthcare analytics company that specializes in compliance with Medicare's 340B prescription drug discount program.
Tran, who joined Sentry in May, previously was CFO of WellCare Health Plans, a public managed-care company. Prior to that, Tran was COO and CFO of population health management company CareGuide.

Prior to that he was CFO and Uniprise, a division of insurance giant UnitedHealth. He was also CFO at ConnectiCare and a vice president for finance at Cigna.
"Tran's more than 30 years of experience in finance and operations, as well as his depth of knowledge in the healthcare industry will be a significant asset to our business," said Travis Leonardi, CEO of Sentry Data Systems, in a statement.
