Voters disapprove of how Trump administration is handling healthcare, Quinnipiac poll shows
Only 36 percent of voters said the GOP should revive its attempt to repeal and replace the ACA, poll shows.
So far Americans are largely unimpressed with the Trump administration's efforts at healthcare reform, according to a new Quinnipiac University Poll. Findings show 65 percent of voters say they disapprove of how Trump is handling healthcare.
Specifically, a slight majority of 54 percent say he is handling healthcare worse than former President Barack Obama. Another 19 percent say he's handling it about the same as Obama.
The numbers for Congressional Republicans weren't sterling, either. Only 36 percent of voters said the the GOP should revive its attempt to repeal and replace the ACA, while 60 percent say Republicans should "move on."

The numbers come as the White House is once more putting pressure on Congress to get something done, seemingly in an attempt to provide Trump with a legislative victory before the end of his first 100 days. Reports say the GOP has a new replacement plan, which could be unveiled any day now.
House Speaker Paul Ryan pulled the previous bill, the American Health Care Act, when it became clear there were not enough votes for it to pass due to opposition from members of the conservative Freedom Caucus, as well as Congressional Democrats.
