UPMC unveils new $19 million Hampton outpatient center
The 44,000-square-foot facility's focus will be primary healthcare for children and adults.
Pennsylvania healthcare giant UPMC unveiled a new three-story $19 million dollar outpatient center in Hampton Thursday.
The 44,000-square-foot facility's focus will be primary health care for children and adults, as well as women's health, pediatric, rehabilitation, radiology and laboratory services under one roof.
There also will be an Austin's Playroom for children, created in conjunction with the Mario Lemieux Foundation.
"This $19 million community investment provides a wide range of outpatient services and brings together the clinical and administrative talent and expertise of UPMC St. Margaret and UPMC Passavant. The new medical complex will make it as easy as possible for patients to obtain the care and services they need close to home, conveniently and efficiently," UPMC said in a statement.
