Tenet Healthcare is deploying an ambient AI platform across Tenet Physician Resources.
Tenet has partnered with Commure for Commure Scribe, a platform that will integrate clinical workflows. This is expected to reduce administrative burden by streamlining data collection, documentation and care delivery.
It's being deployed across Tenet's employed physician network, Tenet Physician Resources.
WHY THIS MATTERS
The AI platform will enable providers to dedicate more time to patient care, fostering a more human-centered healthcare experience, according to Commure.
Tenet Physician Resources employs over 2,200 physicians and healthcare providers across the country.
Tenet Healthcare Corporation is a for-profit health system based in Dallas, Texas, that operates over 50 acute-care hospitals, and also Conifer Health Solutions, a healthcare support services arm for population health and revenue cycle management.
THE LARGER TREND
Commure, based in Mountain View, California, has advanced AI technology backed by industry leaders such as General Catalyst, HCA Healthcare and Sequoia Capital.
In October, Commure was selected by HCA Healthcare to develop and deploy an ambient AI platform across its network. This partnership followed Commure's acquisition of ambient AI pioneer Augmedix.
Commure said its reach includes tens of thousands of physicians across 60 of the largest integrated delivery networks in the country.
ON THE RECORD
"We chose Commure given their provider- and patient-centric approach to innovation," said Philipp Ludwig, CEO of Tenet Physician Resources. "We are excited to launch Commure's AI platform across our national network to continue to enhance the positive experience for our patients, providers and care team."
