Promotions, hires and fires for the week ending March 14, 2014
Dewey R. Rowlands was named chief financial officer at Rome Memorial Hospital in Rome, N.Y. He was previously CFO at Oneida (N.Y.) Healthcare Center.
The Healthcare Billing and Management Association (HBMA) has named Andre Williams the executive director for the organization. In his new role, Williams will lead all aspects of the organization’s strategy and operations.
Brian Hobson been selected as Bristol (Tenn.) Regional Medical Center’s chief operating officer. He served previously as vice president of finance and operations for the community hospital division at Wellmont Health System.
