Promotions, hires and fires for the week ending Sept. 26, 2014
Sandra DiPietro has been promoted to senior vice president and chief financial officer of St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington, La. She has served as controller at STPH since 1995 and has been with the hospital since 1994.
LifePoint Hospitals, based in Brentwood, Tenn., has appointed Mary Kiger to vice president of service line development, Conrad Deese to vice president of finance for LifePoint’s Eastern Group; and Rick Phillips to vice president of clinical operations.
Lisa Allen has been named the first chief patient experience officer for Johns Hopkins Medicine in Baltimore, Md. In this newly created role, the health system says she will translate "key concepts of service excellence and patient satisfaction into actionable programs and quality metrics" that can be standardized across Johns Hopkins' six hospitals.
Land of Lincoln Health, Illinois' health insurance co-op based in Chicago, has named Jason Montrie as president. Most recently, Montrie served as LLH's executive vice president. He was previously an executive with Humana in Chicago and led the insurer's new development of hospital and healthcare employee benefit plans.
