Brian D. Steines, CPA, has joined University of Missouri Health Care and the MU School of Medicine as chief financial officer, the hospital announced.
Steines will lead MU Health Care and the MU School of Medicine in its development, implementation and monitoring of all policies and practices concerning financial administration, budgets, financial planning, general accounting, patient accounting services and government reimbursement.

Steines most recently served as vice president of financial operations for Scottsdale Lincoln Health Network’s Arizona Market and has held executive leadership positions with Vanguard Health Care, Health Management Associates Inc. and Catholic Healthcare West.
